WAVERLY -- A man who was living out of his car was robbed, beaten with boards and bricks, stripped naked and left to die in a trash bin.
Authorities in the southern Ohio town of Waverly say itıs the first murder there in 40 years.
Bond was set at $1 million each Monday for three men charged with aggravated murder and aggravated robbery. They are 22-year-old Matthew Ferman of Waverly and 28-year-old Martin Baxter and 19-year-old James Trent Junior, both of Piketon.
Daniel Fetty died in a Columbus hospital on Saturday, about 12 hours after he was found.
Friends and co-workers say the 39-year-old Fetty moved to Ohio from Texas and refused to live in a homeless shelter. He collected his first paycheck from a restaurant dishwashing job on Friday.
